Master bedroom soundproofing remodel

Interior soundproofing remodel limited to the master bedroom, consisting of approximately 23 linear feet of new interior double-wall construction along two existing exterior walls to reduce exterior noise transmission from nearby railroad traffic. Work includes new wood stud framing, Rockwool sound insulation, high-density mass loaded vinyl (MLV) sound barrier, drywall (Sheetrock), joint compound, tape and texture, primer, and paint. Existing exterior walls will remain in place. No work is proposed in other rooms.
