Pour new 6”x10’x12’ concrete slab in the backyard (aligned with and doweled into the existing back patio slab.) - Remove ~10 LF of the existing gutter and fascia where the new patio cover will be installed. - Set 2, 6”x6 Western Red Cedar posts on the front corners of the new patio cover w/ Simpson post bases anchored into new slab. (Post height to match the existing fascia height on the home.) - Frame the patio cover roof structure using Western Red Cedar (WRC) lumber. - Valley Beams (2”x12” PT S.Y.P.) - Rafters (2”x8” WRC) - Support Beams (4”x6” WRC) - Ridge Beam (2”x8” WRC) - Collar Ties (2”x6” WRC”) - Fascia (2”x6” WRC) (New patio cover to tie into the existing roof structure) (Install Simpson joist hangers, hurricane ties, plates, and brackets in respective locations) - Install new Western Red Cedar tongue and grove roof decking over all rafters. - Install new roofing system on top of the new patio cover. * Synthetic roof underlayment installed over all new roof decking. * Ice and Water shield installed in both new roof valleys where the new patio cover connects to the existing roof structure. * Starter strip and new aluminum drip edge flashing installed around the full perimeter of the new patio cover roof line. * 3-Tab composition shingles and ridge caps installed on the new patio roof cover (new shingles to match the existing shingle color.) - Install one new electrical outlet. (Outlet location TBD by homeowner) - Install new 5” aluminum seamless gutters on the left and right side of the patio cover. (New gutters to match the existing gutter size, profile and color.) (Includes installing one new 3”x4” downspout on the left and right side of the patio cover.) - Clean and haul away all job related debris.
