Install a freestanding cedar Patio Cover (labeled Patio Cover #2 in Site Plan) measuring no larger than 8' high × 10’ long × 10’ wide (anticipated size is 8'-0" × 6'-4" × 7'-11"). It will be installed on the existing concrete pool deck. The pergolas will be securely anchored to the existing concrete slab. The pergola will be installed on the existing rear concrete pool deck and anchored at each post location using the manufacturer-provided or manufacturer-approved galvanized steel post base brackets. Each post base will be mechanically fastened to the concrete slab with corrosion-resistant concrete anchors, such as expansion anchors or wedge anchors, installed according to the manufacturer’s written instructions. The pergola will not be installed as a temporary or movable structure. It will be secured to resist movement, uplift, and lateral shifting caused by wind or normal use. No plumbing, electrical, grading, drainage modifications, or changes to the existing structures are proposed. The project consists solely of installing the pergola as shown on the attached site plan and architectural rendering.
